A Bit About This

A thought can trigger an action. Right now, I'm concentrating on the thought of "congratulations". 

When my friends were graduating, I had trouble finding the right gift. The family members always bring flowers, balloons are banned from the ceremony, and the remaining gift options were cards, picture frames and nothing unique (left for me!). I stumbled upon the ribbon lei and thought it was my chance to give a unique, budget friendly, thoughtful gift of congratulations! I taught myself to make it and am now sharing the tradition with all of you :) 

Leis (pronounced 'lays') derives from a Hawaiian tradition, usually strung together with flowers and beads. The graduation lei is a modern twist! Both are used as a symbol of affection.
